She may be “Queen” to millions, but Prince George has a very special nickname for his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, his mom revealed.

The heir to the throne who will turn seven next month has a sweet nickname for the Queen Mum–and it’s so adorable!

George, who is third in line to the throne after his grandfather Prince Charles and dad Prince William, is apparently very close with his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth.

 

Mom Kate, aka the Duchess of Cambridge, revealed that he has a very sweet pet name for her.

"He calls her "Gan-Gan," she announced during a 2016 interview.

 

Kate then went on to explain exactly how close the clan is, all thanks to the matriarch of the family.

 

“She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay and that just shows her love for her family." Aww!

George, whose siblings include Charlotte, 5, and Louis, 2, is believed to be Elizabeth's favorite great-grandchild. Understandable!
