They Don't Keep The Groomsmen Updated
Many men have a relaxed approach when it comes to their wedding morning. Sure, they may be nervous but they don't need as much time to get ready as the bride and bridesmaids do. Some grooms may have also left much of the wedding planning to their soon-to-be wives, which leaves both them and the groomsmen uninformed. Grooms need to make sure their groomsmen have a timeline of what to expect for the wedding day.
They Wait Until The Last Minute To Get Ready
Some grooms wait until the last minute possible to get ready since they don't necessarily need much time to get dressed on their wedding mornings. However, grooms should make sure to get ready in a timely manner, especially if photographers are arriving at his location for some pre-wedding photos.
They Forget The Bride's Gift
It's understandable that packing for your wedding can be a mad rush. However, there are some things both brides and grooms shouldn't forget. One that may easily slip his mind is the gift he bought for you. Couples should pack up their gifts for each other in the car as soon as they buy them so they don't forget them on their wedding morning.
They Forget The Essentials
It's the little things that grooms often forget to pack. They may think that they're good to go as long as they have their tux ready to go-- but that's not necessarily true. Grooms should be extra mindful of the toiletries and accessories they packing for their wedding day. He may want to swap out his old razor for a new one, and he may forget to pack a pair of dress socks or bow tie.
They Drink Too Much Beforehand
Of course you want to celebrate your big day, and that includes toasts to the newlyweds. However, that should probably wait until after the ceremony is over. A beer or two before the ceremony to calm jitters won't hurt, but grooms should make sure that the bridal party doesn't go overboard drinking beforehand.
