TikTok has become a go-to platform for inspiration, where creators share their personal weight loss journeys and effective tips that have worked for them. TikToker Sydney Hampton (@sydneyallyse), who has over 40K followers on the app and has lost “30 pounds in three months,” revealed her method to sustainable weight loss while staying in a calorie deficit. She broke down everything that she typically eats in a day in order to lose weight and keep it off. Read on to get all her tips.
Breakfast: Proffee
If you're like most people, you probably start your day with a cup of coffee. However, most coffees are loaded with creamy and sugary additives. Sydney opts for Premiere Coffee that's high in protein and "helps give" her "energy." The coffee contains 160 calories and 30 grams of protein.
Lunch: buffalo chicken wraps
For lunch, she chose to eat buffalo chicken wraps. The trick here is to use ingredients that will give you nutritional benefits rather than empty calories.
She prepped the chicken the day before, allowing her to save time. Instead of using tortillas that contain unnecessary ingredients, she suggests trying Mission Carb Balance Tortillas. "You can make so many low-calorie meals with these."
She also practices portion control by using a scale to weigh her ingredients and measures how much protein she's eating. The Greek yogurt ranch dip adds more protein to her meal. Sydney also allows herself to eat what she craves, preventing herself from feeling restricted. After her lunch, she indulged in Rice-A-Roni to feel even more satisfied.
Snack: flavored water
For that 2PM snack craving, Sydney made a stop at Sonic and treated herself to their sugar-free flavored water, which amounted to 10 calories.
Dinner: hot honey buffalo chicken wraps
When it came time for dinner, she made one of her favorite meals: hot honey buffalo chicken wraps. This allows her to get more protein, helping her to feel full while eating something she loves. With the chicken, Sydney made salad from a premade salad kit she bought.
Eating veggies with her dinner gives her essential vitamins and minerals, helping to balance out her meal. She uses Mission’s 70-calorie tortilla wrap for this dinner and assembles each wrap. “I think I could eat these just about every night if I wanted to,” she says. This dinner contains 472 calories and 38 grams of protein.
Dessert: high-protein ice cream
No day is complete without some dessert. Instead of high-calorie ice cream, she recommends vanilla Greek yogurt sandwiches. She does admit that "because it was just one of those days,” she later treated herself to another ice cream that was only 90 calories.
