If there’s been a McDonald’s Snack Wrap-shaped hole in your heart for years, good news is on the horizon; a new fast food chicken wrap is entering the picture, and this time it’s from Wendy’s.
That’s right: Wendy’s is now testing a brand-new Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap at select locations in Ohio—and according to leaked company documents , this wrap is set to roll out across the nation soon. But while customers are excited about this new menu item, it comes at the expensive of the fan-favorite Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Well, you know what they say: When one door closes, another one opens.

Wendy's Will Introduce A Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap
All in all, Wendy's new Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap offers just about everything we could ask for from a chicken wrap, and it sounds pretty similar to the famous McDonald's snack wrap. This menu item will be complete with grilled chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, and, of course, ranch, all in a flour tortilla. All of this comes out to 410 calories, 16 grams of fat, and a decent 25 grams of protein. While prices may vary, you can expect it to cost around $5.99, and it should start rolling out as soon as March 28, 2023. We can hardly wait!
Other Wendy's Meny Items To Come
But this chicken wrap isn't the only thing we have to look forward to. The wrap is just one part of many menu changes to come. According to a Reddit thread featuring leaked documents, customers can also expect to see a Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad on the menu soon. And there's a brand new beverage on the way too: Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade. Yum!
People seem to be looking forward to the new items. "OH MY GOD THE WRAP AND LEMONADE I AM EXCITED," one Reddit user raved in the comments.
Wendy's Says Goodbye To Grilled Chicken Sandwich And More
But as we usher in this new era, we also have to say goodbye to some of our favorite items: The Grilled Chicken Sandwich, the Southwest Avocado Salad, and the Sunburst Melon Natural Lemonade.
Other changes to come involve the restaurant's meal deals. In addition to the 4 for $4 and the $5 Biggie Bag, a $6 Biggie Bag will be implemented. You'll now have to spend $6 if you want a Crispy Chicken BLT or a Bacon Double Stack with your 4-piece nuggets, fries, and drink. The JBC, Double Stack, and Crispy Chicken Sandwich will be at the $5 price point, and the 4 for $4 may even be removed from menus—but still available upon verbal request from customers. So don't forget to ask!
While it's certainly sad to see items go and even sadder for meal deals to rise in price, the Chicken Ranch Wrap is certainly a silver lining. But what do you think? Are these changes for the better, or would you prefer to keep the 4 for $4 and Grilled Chicken Sandwich?
