It seems like nowadays, fast food places just aren’t what they used to be. Every week customers are finding faults with their favorite fast food places, from increasing menu prices at McDonald’s, poor quality chicken at Chick-fil-A, and now Wendy’s customers are complaining of “overcooked” and “rubbery” chicken. Wendy's Customer 'Disappointed' By Spicy Asiago Chicken Sandwich
The Spicy Asiago Ranch Chicken Club is advertised pretty deliciously on the chain's website: "A juicy chicken breast marinated and breaded in our unique, fiery blend of peppers and spices to deliver more flavor inside and out, topped with thick Applewood smoked bacon, Asiago cheese, creamy ranch sauce, crisp lettuce, and tomato, all on a toasted bun."
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be what's made to order for customers. One customer had such a poor experience at the fast food restaurant that they took to Reddit to share their thoughts. @AllDaynx66a started a thread in the Wendy's Subreddit titled, "The chicken sandwiches are pure trash," and it only got worse from there.
"My all time favorite go to used to be 2 spicy asiago chicken sandwiches," they wrote. "They were comparable to Chick-fil-A. Now anytime I chance a chicken sandwich, I'm biting into an almost rock hard chicken breast of some body builder chicken that was repping 405, my teeth do not meet through this chicken now."

And it seems that @AllDaynx66a isn't alone in this experience. Other customers and Reddit users took to the comment section to share their thoughts as well. "Agreed," wrote one person. "Used to love the classic crispy chicken sandwich or whatever they call it. It was the best chicken sandwich ever in my opinion. Now it's always soggy and feels like rubber when you bite into it. Hard pass now, so disappointing."
"Yeah Wendy's said f*** you to quality," another customer shared. "I used to love the spicy chicken and it was comparable to Chick-fil-A like you said, but now it is a thin piece of really bad chicken."
"The crappy overcooked or old one suck, yeah. But honesty?" another person said. "That isn't even the issue these days. The last ones I have ordered have been cooked fine. They were just super thin. They used to be the size of what was like a real breast." Hopefully Wendy's will step up their game soon, or risk more unhappy customers.
