Wendy’s has recently made a huge promotional offer for customers, giving away free food through their mobile app (through May 23). With that in mind, if you are looking to indulge in some fast food, now’s the time to download Wendy’s app.
According to the offer, Wendy's will give customers a free Spicy Chicken sandwich with any purchase. To unlock this offer, check out the "Offers" section of the Wendy's app. Plus, you can redeem this offer once a week until the promotion ends on May 23.
This offer can definitely help you save money, considering you can purchase a cheaper menu item (like fries or a soda) and then get the sandwich for free.
Earlier this month, Wendy's was offering a similar promotion with free burgers.
However, the fast food chain has recently pulled burgers and other beef menu items in many locations as meat production slows down in the United States.
The Guardian explains, "Wendy’s meatless woes are a symptom of a broader slowdown in America’s meat production as thousands of workers in processing plants fall sick from Covid-19 and facilities shutter due to fears of further spread of the virus."
The article continues, "Tyson Foods, one of America’s largest meat producers, said its output of pork is down by 50% despite measures it claims it has taken to physically distance workers and ensure the supply of meat."
