From Dunkin’s new lemon loaf to Chick-fil-A’s controversial cauliflower sandwich, fast food restaurants are constantly rolling out seasonal new items. And if you love Wendy’s, spicy chicken, or both, we’ve got some great news: this summer is about to be hot in more ways than one. The fast food chain announced on Monday that they’ll be spicing things up with a new Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich to their menu. And to turn up the heat even more, Ghost Pepper Fries will also be making their debut. Yum!

Wendy's Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich

That's right: fans of all things spicy (like these McDonald's nuggets that are rumored to be making a comeback) will be happy to hear that there are about to be two more items on the Wendy's menu to help them get their fix. The Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich will be the first Made to Crave item of the year.

This sandwich features Wendy's beloved Spicy Chicken, and it's topped with ghost pepper-infused American cheese, creamy ghost pepper ranch sauce, ghost pepper seasoned crispy onions, lettuce, and tomato. Our mouths are watering—and burning already.

Of course you'll want fries with that, and Wendy's isn't going to leave you empty-handed. Their Ghost Pepper Fries will be the same natural-cut Wendy's French fries we all know and love, this time coated with a spicy fry sauce for an extra kick. Sign us up!

Fans seem to be loving these new menu items. They're praising the spice levels!

Plus, for when your mouth needs a cool-down, you'll be able to indulge in a cool, creamy Strawberry Frosty, which has now returned to menus nationwide for a limited time. (Or you can always stop at Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry.)

So, what do you say? Are your taste buds ready to feel the burn, or will you stick with your usual order? Let's just hope it all tastes better than these fast food items that customers hate.
