Fast food restaurants are the last place you want to go if you're on a diet. But sometimes, you just can't fight those cravings -- especially when it comes to Wendy's. The chain is home to some pretty delicious menu items, but they're not all the best options for those who are watching their weight. To ensure that you're making smart choices when you get a hankering for Wendy's classic food, we found the one menu item that's nutritionist-approved for weight loss: The Grilled Chicken Sandwich!

Wendy's Grilled Chicken Sandwich combines the chain's signature all-white meat chicken breast with honey mustard, a spring green mix, and tomato. At 360 calories and 35 grams of protein, this sandwich makes for a healthy meal that will keep you feeling full and focused all day.

“I'd go for the Ultimate Chicken Grill sandwich. At only 360 calories and a whopping 35 grams of protein, it's decently filling, and the fresh veggies on top add a bit of healthfulness. The honey mustard dressing makes it surprisingly flavorful, too!" — Jennifer Neily, MS, RDN, LD, FAND, of Neily on Nutrition tells Eat This, Not That!
To make the sandwich healthier, you can skip the honey mustard to save some calories and fat. You can also add more vegetables to your meal by getting the Garden Side Salad, but you need to be wary when it comes to the dressing. "I'd dip my fork in the dressing to use it sparingly," says Elisa Zied, MS, RDN, CDN, who says that she would order the salad with Caesar dressing on the side. "[You'll get the] ever-important fiber and phytochemicals from [the] lettuce, tomato and cucumber."
