Wendy’s Is Rolling Out These New Menu Items Next Month—But Act Fast, They’re Only For A Limited Time!

Wendy’s is reportedly launching four brand new menu items starting November 15, 2022, according to leaked internal documents shared with The Fast Food Post. The fast food giant will allegedly debut two new ‘Made to Crave‘ sandwiches, a new side option, ‘Garlic Fries,’ and a tasty dessert item, a ‘Peppermint Frosty.’ Here’s what we know:

What’s Reportedly Coming To The Menu?

According to The Fast Food Post, two delicious upcoming ‘Italian Mozzarella’ sandwiches will make their way to a local Wendy’s restaurant near you. These new items, the outlet writes, are what the company says are meant to give fans the “opportunity to have a true upscale Italian restaurant experience in the Fast Food World.” Both of the two new meat sandwiches are topped with fried mozzarella cheese, and prepared on a garlic knot bun.

Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich

The first new sandwich from the ‘Made To Crave,’ ‘Italian Mozzarella’ duo is the ‘Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich,’ which is said to feature a crispy, fried chicken breast, a slice of mozzarella cheese melted over it, additional fried mozzarella cheese as another topping, and marinara sauce under the garlic knot bun.

The second new sandwich is the similar ‘Italian Mozzarella Cheeseburger,’ which will reportedly consist of a beef patty instead of chicken, and then topped again with a slice of melted mozzarella cheese, extra fried mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce while also served on a garlic knot bun.

Garlic Fries

If you’re a fan of Wendy’s trademark natural-cut, potato skin-on fries, you’ll probably also loved their new revamped version, this time sprinkled with garlic seasoning. The new side could perfectly compliment the aforementioned sandwiches or any other entree on the menu!

Peppermint Frosty

Just in time for the holiday season, Wendy’s customers will soon be able to sip on a peppermint-flavored version of their favorite fast food milkshake. If you love the vanilla-flavored ‘Frosty’ drink from the chain, you might find this new edition tempting, as the ‘Peppermint Frosty’ will be made with a classic vanilla ‘Frosty’ base mixed with peppermint syrup.

Is Anything Leaving The Wendy’s Menu?

According to the company memo, the vanilla ‘Frosty’ flavor won’t return to Wendy’s menus until sometime early in 2023. Instead of bringing back the ‘Vanilla Frosty,’ Wendy’s is aiming to replace the new ‘Strawberry Frosty’ with the ‘Peppermint’ one as winter approaches.

Additionally, the leaked document obtained by The Fast Food Post also indicates that the ‘Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich’ and ‘Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit’ breakfast sandwich will both be discontinued to prepare for the launch of the new ‘Italian Mozzarella’ options.
