We’re all well aware that Taylor Swift can do it all— whether that’s singing, songwriting, directing a highly viewed short film last fall, or promoting it at Tribeca Film Festival last week in a chic ensemble! The “I Bet You Think About Me” singer, 32, arrived in a stunning navy pinstripe suit to the New York City event to participate in a screening of All Too Well: The Short Film, which she originally released in November 2021. Swift donned a Max Mara-designed set—composed of a low-cut, button-up vest and high-waisted, wide-leg pants— both from the label’s pre-Fall 2022 collection.

The Grammy winner completed her classy summery look with red Prada pumps that featured sparkly black buckles and accessorized with gold earrings and bracelets. To pull it all together, Swift rocked her signature red lip (to epically match her shoes!) and wore her long, golden blonde tresses down and styled into loose waves.

During the screening for the 15-minute film, Swift was joined by the film’s actors Stranger Things star Sadie Sink and Maze Runner alum Dylan O’Brien. Swift discussed the project being her directorial debut, and how it was inspired by the song she originally released in 2012 of the same name, which also appeared on her 2021 re-recording of Red (Taylor’s Version).

Swift surprised her audience (which included Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds) with a surprise live rendition of the title track. Naturally, fans on Twitter and elsewhere were ecstatic, and shared clips and videos from the event to celebrate. “Taylor’s outfit is everything,” wrote one fan while another added, “she’s so beautiful and talented!”

Regarding future possible directorial efforts, Swift said, “It would be so fantastic to write and direct a feature,” adding that a longer film would be amazing to do, but might be more complicated to pursue. Ultimately, Swift (and millions of fans, we’re sure) seem to be happy with the short film’s outcome, as it is. “I don’t see it being bigger in terms of scale,” she said at the time. “I loved making a film that was so intimate with a crew that was relatively small, just a really solid group of people that I trusted.”
