Are you ready for the latest bombshell? Well, Donald Trump was quoted in a new book as saying that he could have beat a Washington-Lincoln ticket if they had been running against him in an election. What!
The 45th president of the United States has not taken his loss of the 2020 election lightly. Trump has repeatedly spoken about his belief that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against him. Beyond believing that he actually beat president Joe Biden, Trump also believes he could have won a race against the first president of our country: George Washington.
According to Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, whose book, I Alone Can Fix It is soon to be published – the former president had some shocking ideas about his presidency and a hypothetical race against a dead man. Trump was quoted as saying, "I think it would be hard if George Washington came back from the dead and he chose Abraham Lincoln as his vice-president, I think it would have been very hard for them to beat me."
The reporters spent over two hours speaking with Trump, and if this is any indication, the book will be rampant with outrageous comments from Trump.
