Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially made their first public outing since moving to Los Angeles. It wasn’t anything huge that drew big crowds—we are still dealing with a global pandemic after all. The couple quietly delivered food to the needy residents of Los Angeles.
Harry and Meghan have kept a relatively low profile since moving to the states. Of course, since Los Angeles as well as most of the U.S. are sheltering in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, there haven’t been many celebrity sightings.
Donning caps and face coverings, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were hardly recognizable as they made their rounds delivering food for Project Angel Food. Project Angel Food is a nonprofit that prepares and delivers medically tailored food to people suffering from chronic illnesses.
Harry and Meghan helped deliver food to low-income housing units for disabled and special needs residents. They even made a few stops inside the building. The nonprofit’s executive director, Richard Ayoub, said that Harry and Meghan kept a low-profile throughout their voluntary work and that he was 'completely honored' to have them on board.
Why did Harry and Meghan decide to step out in L.A. during a pandemic? “What Meghan said is she wanted to show Harry Los Angeles through the eyes of philanthropy. It’s just beautiful,' Ayoub added. The couple continues to surprise their fans and there’s sure to be more in the near future.
