Whole Foods Just Dropped A MAJOR Bombshell & People Are Freaking Out

Though Walmart made the unprecedented decision to close stores on Thanksgiving this year, a shocking number of establishments are going in the opposite direction. We are so surprised to learn that Whole Foods is one!

The grocery store chain, which was applauded as one of the safest during the coronavirus pandemic due to extra safety procedures, has announced that it will be open on the national holiday this year. Wow!

The Amazon-owned company will in fact be open on Thursday, November 26 this year, along with a handful of other stores such as CVS and Starbucks.

We have to wonder what their workers, aka frontline workers in the global health crisis, think about this!

As a food store, we would understand why they would want to monopolize on last-minute purchases for this food-centric holiday, but on the other hand COVID-19 may be experiencing a second resurgence around that time.

A spokesperson for the company old Country Living that *all* stores will be open on Thanksgiving, but hours will vary location to location. They advised that customers check their local Whole Foods' holiday hours, by visiting the company's website and looking under "store locator" by zip code.
