Whole Foods Recalls Frozen Pizzas After They've Been Shipped To 4 States

Whole Foods Vegan Ultimate Veggie Thin Crust Pizzas across four states have been pulled from shelves due to an undeclared—and non-vegan—allergen was discovered: milk.

The US Food and Drug Administration reported the recall, which was issued voluntarily by Richelieu Foods Inc., the manufacturer, on Feb. 7th. Read on for more details, including exactly which products the recall includes and what to do if you’ve purchased them.

365 Whole Foods Market Vegan Ultimate Veggie Thin Crust Pizza Recall

According to the FDA, the 144 individual pizzas, labeled 365 Whole Foods Market Vegan Ultimate Veggie Thin Crust Pizza, have been shipped to retail locations in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The affected pizzas have a lot code of 06152024 and a best by date of June 15, 2024.

 

No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported yet, and the FDA noted in their statement that "all other Whole Foods 365 pizzas are properly labeled, and no other products are included" in the recall.
