Why Is Every Celeb Wearing Robes Right Now?

March 21, 2017 by Justine Schwartz

When Beyonce showed up to the NBA All-Star game in a $22,000 Gucci kimoni earlier this month, you knew all of us in the Beyhive would immediately head to Google to search for a similar robe look of ourselves. It's a really challenging trend though--how do you rock a robe, a la Chrissy Teigen, Jessica Alba, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the Kardashians and more, and NOT look like you just rolled out of bed?

Hint: search for "dusters" or "duster jackets" to find a version of robes and kimonos that us regular peeps can wear.  And click through the slideshow for outfit inspo AND robes you can shop now.

You're welcome!

Chrissy Teigen is a big fan of robes as outerwear--she's worn them at LAX, while traveling, on red carpets and out and about in LA. She has a Gucci robe she wears often.

Hilary Duff rocked this robe look at the launch of Callie Collection Wines in New York. Cheers to that!

Ever the trendsetter, or at least in her own family, Kourtney Kardashian was seen rocking a robe with her Good American jeans, Gianvito Rossi pumps and Wolford body suit. Lookin' good!

Mum-to-be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a big fan of the trend--particularly this satin-y Stella McCartney one. Sexy!

Gigi Hadid got the look as a coat--she just chose an *extra long* one that replicates the drags-on-the-floor appeal of the robe trend.

Khloe Kardashian recently greeted fans in a long, pinkish brown silk robe in Van Nuys. Lucky them!
