Miley's Super Bowl outfits were just so quintessentially Miley: black and pink leather mini skirt and matching bra with football-inspired knee pads—perfection.
No one could pull this look off, except Miley Cyrus. She’s definitely been channeling some 80s rockstar vibes and found a way to stay true to her grunge style while still dressing for the iconic occasion!
The Plastic Hearts singer took the stage during her TikTok Tailgate performance at Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Florida, on Sunday, February 7th to set the mood ahead of the highly anticipated game.

Because of health guidelines, the game itself and Miley’s performance had limited attendance, with Miley performing in front of 7,500 vaccinated health care workers.
Miley shared snaps from her epic performance with her 122.5m followers and got over 963k likes in the first 24 hours. With the caption, “Who’s my Superman?” Miley tagged Billy Idol who was one of her guest performers on stage along with Joan Jett. Miley also gave a shout-out to another icon who wasn’t in attendance but has been making headlines since the release of a documentary about her life: Britney Spears. Miley called out,“We love Britney,” while adding the “Oops I did it Again” singer’s name to the lyrics of her 2009 hit “Party in the U.S.A.” Miley also seemed to tear up later while singing “Wrecking Ball.”
She said, “Everyone’s suffering is different, even everyone’s threshold of pain,” she added. “I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armor and I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot.”
Miley definitely looked and sounded like the rockstar that she is. It was clear that she took her preparation very seriously.
She showed her hard work leading up to her performance on Instagram, sharing snaps of her gym prep, running on the treadmill, and singing while working out.
