Hailey Bieber was called out recently for being “not nice” in a now viral TikTok. In the video, a New York City restaurant hostess, Julia Carolan, ranked the celebrities she encountered while working at an upscale restaurant in the city.
The video ranks quite a few A-listers, including Bella and Gigi Hadid (who she says were “literally so nice”), Kylie Jenner (who apparently does not tip well), and Hailey Bieber.
Although most of the celebrities featured did not respond to the video, Hailey Bieber did–and her response was unexpected.
In the TikTok, Carolan describes her experiences with Mrs. Bieber: "This is gonna be controversial. I’ve met her a handful of times, and every time she was not nice."
She added, "I really wanna like her, but I have to give her, like, a 3.5 out of 10. Sorry."
She also prefaced the video with the caption: "These are just my personal experiences, pls take with a grain of salt."
The video quickly went viral, and even caught the attention of Hailey.
The supermodel commented twice. First, she wrote, "Just came across this video and wanted to say so sorry if I’ve ever given you bad vibes or a bad attitude. That’s not ever my intention!"
She then added another comment, saying, "Hate hearing that was your experience with me but glad u called me out so I can do better!! Hopefully we meet again so I can apologize in person."
Fans were quick to praise the celebrity for responding to the video and apologizing. In fact, Bieber's second comment got up to 125.2K likes.
For her part, Carolan completely accepted Bieber's apology. She responded,"We love an accountability queen ... thanks sm for taking the time to apologize — I hope we can meet again one day and start over. x."
