Despite recently contracting COVID-19, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson may be allowed to travel to Brisbane, Australia for his next movie shoot.

The world’s highest paid actor may be given a special exemption by the Queensland government, an official just revealed, in order to start shooting his film “Young Rock” there this month. It’s good to be rich and famous!

The country has strict quarantine protocol, but a government official confirmed that they could use a special loophole to let the A-lister enter into the country despite his medical history with the novel coronavirus.

Deputy Queensland premier Steven Miles told a radio station, "We have a (exemption) process in place. He would need to go through that process and get a special pass from the Federal Government, as well as endorsement from our Government, from the Chief Health Officer (Dr Jeannette Young). But wouldn't it be awesome to have The Rock here."

The former wrestler recently spoke out about his experience with the virus.

"I can tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family," he said in an Instagram post in early September.

"And for me personally, too, as well, and I've gone through some doozies in the past." Yikes!

The 48-year-old star, along with his wife Lauren Hashian and young daughters Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2 contracted and overcame COVID-19.

Fellow A-Lister Tom Hanks was one of the first celebrities to make their COVID diagnosis public. The "Forrest Gump" star was diagnosed with the virus in Australia, where he completed a mandatory 14-day quarantine with wife Rita Wilson and was subject to police checks, standard supervision, compliance and testing.
