A huge secret about Kate Middleton‘s family planning has just resurfaced–and we are so surprised!
It turns out that the director of a children’s organization warned the princess not to have another child after George and Charlotte were born. And in a surprising twist, we’ve learned that this was *just* before Kate announced her pregnancy with Prince Louis. Yikes!

Here’s what you need to know: during a tour of Poland and Germany in the summer of 2017, Marie Claire UK reports that Kate was given a baby toy.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte were older at the time, and allegedly Kate turned to William and said, “We’ll just have to have more babies!”

The rare moment of divulgence landed Kate in hot water--shortly after the event, Anne Green Carter Dillard the executive director of children's organization Having Kids issued Kate an open letter imploring her not to have a third child.
"The example the British Royal Family sets is extremely influential," she remarked. "Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity. Large families are not sustainable." Oh boy!

The director of the organization, which promotes "sustainable and child-centered family planning," went on to urge the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to reconsider expanding their family.
While George and Charlotte are "certain to have wonderful lives… the same can’t be said of every future child," she concluded. Ummm, we're pretty sure Louis has a good life, too.

Issues of sustainability and the example royal families set came up again when Prince Harry told Dr. Jane Goodall in an interview for British Vogue that he wants only "two [kids], maximum" for the sake of the planet. Was that a jab at his brother and sister-in-law, with whom he is reportedly feuding? We'll never know--but can we all just agree to live and let live on this one?
