It’s been almost 15 years since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston got divorced, but most fans are still not over the iconic Hollywood couple.
Don’t believe me? In January of this year, the exes were photographed together for the first time in years at the SAG Awards, and the internet went crazy with the pictures with some people even hoping that a reunion between the two could be possible.
Although there’s no news on that front (yet at least), the former couple has been in the news recently as the Beverly Hills house they share together has recently been put back on the market.
Keep reading for the details.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the actors originally purchased the home in 2001, paying $13.5 million for the property. While they owned the home, Pitt and Aniston renovated it and further developed the estate.
Four years later, the couple was divorced. And a year after that the Tudor-style home was sold for $28 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Apparently, the A-listers' updates payed off.
Last year, the 12,000-square-foot house returned to the market. The house, which was built in 1934 by architect Wallace Neff, is four bedrooms and twelve bathrooms plus a swimming pool and tennis court. Plus, it sits on over an acre of land.
The home was originally priced at $56 million, but the asking price was lowered in March to $44.5 million.
It was sold for less than that at $32.5 million.
The house is beautiful and might just be worth the price tag.
The LA Times describes it: "Half-timbering and white-painted brickwork give the house a timeless charm. Inside, there’s a rotunda entry, an updated kitchen, two wet bars and a screening room — the latter of which is an addition from Aniston and Pitt’s days."
