According to The Wall Street Journal, the actors originally purchased the home in 2001, paying $13.5 million for the property. While they owned the home, Pitt and Aniston renovated it and further developed the estate.
Four years later, the couple was divorced. And a year after that the Tudor-style home was sold for $28 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Apparently, the A-listers' updates payed off.
Last year, the 12,000-square-foot house returned to the market. The house, which was built in 1934 by architect Wallace Neff, is four bedrooms and twelve bathrooms plus a swimming pool and tennis court. Plus, it sits on over an acre of land.
The home was originally priced at $56 million, but the asking price was lowered in March to $44.5 million.
It was sold for less than that at $32.5 million.
The house is beautiful and might just be worth the price tag.
The LA Times describes it: "Half-timbering and white-painted brickwork give the house a timeless charm. Inside, there’s a rotunda entry, an updated kitchen, two wet bars and a screening room — the latter of which is an addition from Aniston and Pitt’s days."
