All eyes have been on lovers Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Bieber ever since they said their “I Do’s.”
During what should’ve been their honeymoon period, the couple faced some seriously difficult hardships that made them stronger than ever.
Hailey recently sat down with Elle to go over the ups and downs of her whirlwind marriage to Justin. As Hailey simply put it, the duo quickly understood their shared martial vow “in sickness and in health.”

“When we first got married, we were just figuring out our life together,” Hailey told Elle. “I felt like putting a wedding in the middle of all of that would be really hectic and stressful.” The couple first exchanged vows in a New York City courthouse in September 2018 and it was then followed by a family and friends celebratory ceremony one year later.
Hailey admitted that settling into married life wasn’t easy as Justin battled health issues. “He was really sick. He has Lyme disease, and he was dealing with a bunch of medical stuff. We didn’t have a diagnosis,” Hailey emotionally revealed during the Elle interview. “And it was hard because everybody from the outside was being super mean and judgmental, saying he looked like he was on drugs, saying how unhealthy he looked, when in truth, he was not healthy and we didn’t know why.”
Mrs. Bieber certainly stuck by Justin’s side through it all, however. The supermodel recently shared her public support for her popstar husband when his newest album ‘Changes’ dropped last month.
Hailey took to Instagram to promote the album and share her excitement. “Couldn’t be more happy that people can finally hear this album..could not be more proud of you, could not be more in love with you. Congratulations on an amazing amazing album baby,” Hailey captioned the post. That definitely sounds like true love to us!
