Elon Musk‘s estranged father Errol Musk may be 76, but having more children is still somehow on his mind. The father of the world’s richest man sat down for an interview with The Sun last week, and Twitter users have been having a field day sharing and analyzing his quotes from it ever since.
The South African engineer notably told the publication that he was recently approached by a South American company that hoped to enlist his help in “creating more people” like his son Elon, 51. Errol said, “I’ve got a company in Colombia who want me to donate sperm to impregnate high-class Colombian women because they say, ‘why go to Elon when they can go to the actual person who created Elon?'”

Errol also claimed that while he was not offered payment to become a sperm donor from this company, “they have offered me first-class travel and five-star hotel accommodation and all that sort of stuff.” (According to his SpaceX founder son, Errol was allegedly the youngest person to become a qualified engineer in his native South Africa, and apparently has a genius-level IQ, according to Elon’s 2017 Rolling Stone profile). When asked by The Sun if he is prepared to take the offer after potentially donating sperm, Errol replied, “Well, why not?”
To make matters even more cringe-inducing, Errol also recently revealed that he welcomed his second child, a daughter, with his stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout, 35, in 2019. Bezuidenhout (who he has known since she was 4 years old) is 41 years Errol’s junior and also the mother of his 5-year-old son Elliot Rush. Errol was previously married to Jana’s mother, Heide, for 18 years and they also share two other children.

Before that, Errol married model Maye Musk, the mother of Elon, his brother Kimbal, 49, and sister Tosca, 48. So all in all, this means that Errol has fathered 7 children and as many might recall, also previously said that “the only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce.” As for his son Elon? He has 10 known children.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree here as the tech billionaire previously tweeted that he was “doing his best to help the underpopulation crisis” and believes that “a collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.” Last year, Elon also tweeted that he thinks “civilization is going to crumble” if more children are not born into the world.
