Meghan Markle and Prince Harry cannot seem to escape controversy and critics. The couple, who left behind their royal duties and moved to Los Angeles, have been harshly critiqued for the decision, even though the couple maintains that the decision was a result of the British tabloid’s criticism of Markle and the royal family’s decision not to defend her.
Although the couple has started a new life with their son, Archie, apart from the royal family, they are still in the public eye, and the criticisms have not stopped.
Most recently, the couple ran into some trouble when a letter they wrote was shared on Twitter.

People were quick to question the crown logo that appeared at the top of the letter–wondering why the couple would use the insignia when they were no longer royals.
One Twitter critic wrote, "Still using the logo!! What don’t you understand about your walk away from Royal Life? Still want the perks with none of the work?"
Another tweeted, "That takes a lot of nerve to leave all of the duties behind but still want to.use the crown...shoddy at least. I'm so disappointed in them...Harry...you've fallen so far...she's not worth it."
Despite the controversy, a royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, told Insider that the couple has every right to use the crown logo: "They are entitled to use the coronet as Harry is the son of an heir apparent and Meghan was also assigned a coronet on their marriage."
Fitzwilliams also explained why the couple was still using Sussexroyal.com for their website: "I think that the use of Sussexroyal.com, which is still the link to their website, is because they have not yet been able to launch Archewell, their nonprofit charitable organization, owing to the pandemic."
A statement from Meghan and Harry obtained by Insider confirms Fitzwilliam's guess, at least when it comes to their current website.
The statement reads, "Before SussexRoyal, came the idea of 'Arche' — the Greek word meaning 'source of action.' We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son's name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right."
Meghan and Harry are far from the only non-working royals to still use the crown insignia.
The article points out that Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, as well as Princess Beatrice, and her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, use the crown logo too.
