Quickly following their move to Vancouver Island, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already found a new place to call home. The couple has relocated to none other Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles, California.
The newfound lifestyle comes after quite the scare when news broke that Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19 after he recently interacted with both Harry and Meghan during their final tour in early March. Prince Charles’ diagnosis was revealed at the end of March following the couple’s safe return to Vancouver Island.
Although it may not be the most comfortable time to call a new city home, sources say that the California lifestyle was always in the cards for Harry, Meghan, and their son Archie.
Both Meghan and Harry are working on making California feel like home ahead of baby Archie’s first birthday on May 6. Of course the family-of-three are taking time for themselves and practicing safe measures during the time of COVID-19.
A source tells PEOPLE that the former royals are doing the best they can to make themselves feel comfortable while keeping Archie happy.
“Like everyone, they are adjusting to [social distancing], being cautious and safe,” the source says. Archie is “teething and is a happy baby. I’m sure he is happy to be in the California sunshine.” How sweet is that?!
Thankfully, Prince Charles has since recovered and Harry, Meghan, and Archie are all healthy and safe. Harry and Meghan can luckily lean on their California support group of Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and Meghan’s Hollywood friends as Harry’s family continues to face the coronavirus in England without him.
