Jennifer Lopez and her soon-to-be-hubby Alex Rodriguez were spotted at a gym in Florida, despite the state’s new stay-at-home mandate due to the COVID-19 threat. The couple had apparently used the power of their celebrity to gain access to the closed business, just before the state mandate went into affect.
The couple was seen exiting a Miami gym in Miami on Wednesday afternoon, just after Florida governor Ron DeSantis announced the state order for all residents to stay home. The order was set to begin at 12:01 a.m. the following Friday, April 3.
It was clear that the pair had received special treatment, as they were seen leaving the gym while wearing workout gear, despite a sign posted at the establishment that read: "The gym is not open. Stay Home. Stay Safe."
Lopez, 50, and Rodriguez, 44, have been engaged since March of last year. They have not yet shared concrete plans for a wedding, though a source at Us Weekly reported that the wedding will happen this summer. Hopefully for the couple, the current global pandemic won't put their plans on hold.
