Kate spent time with hospice volunteers and families at The Nook center to plant a garden--and even brought lavender, bay leaf and rosemary that she bought during a visit to a garden center last week.

Paying tribute to the caregivers on Instagram after the event, Kate said, "The care and the nurture that you provide children and families in the most unimaginable circumstances is just awe inspiring." Indeed!
We applaud Kate for the sentiment of her visit and for shedding light on this important topic, but almost immediately following her visit many began to wonder aloud if she had taken a misstep by not wearing a protective face mask.

Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie, hosts of the all-things-royal podcast "Royally Obsessed" questioned the decision on air.
Stating that they were "surprised," and continuing, "The reason I bring it up for this event is because in some of the pictures, even though she's outside, she's not six feet from other people," Bowie noted.
What these families are going through is incomprehensible, and a royal visit certainly sheds light on the situation. But shouldn't the children's safety be at the forefront?
