According to Cosmo, the sisters spent the week at a "5-star Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point in Utah. As in, two whole states over and a four-plus-hour flight (or eight-hour drive) from where they live in California."
This is a clear deviation from California's current travel recommendations.
The California government website states,"You can travel for urgent matters or if such travel is essential to your permitted work. Even though businesses around the state are opening up, avoid travelling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus."
That's not all. Based on the Jenners' Instagram posts, it's obvious that they decided to forego masks and social distancing rules with their friends.
The article continues, "To make matters worse, Kendall and Kylie are there with a huge group of friends, all of whom are hiking and swimming in the same pools together with no masks on, and they aren’t keeping an appropriate distance away from each other."
Social media users were quick to criticize the trip. One account commented on Kylie's picture, "There are people that are dying."
This is not the first trip the Kardashian-Jenner family has taken amidst the pandemic. They also took a trip to Wyoming in June.
