Ellen DeGeneres is reeling after an explosive report published on BuzzFeed earlier this month outlining alleges of sexual misconduct at the show.
Dozens of former senior and junior staff spoke to the outlet about the “toxic work environment” behind-the-scenes at the popular daytime talk show. And now celebrities are coming forward to speak on how the host treats guests “horribly!” We are SO surprised!
Since news of the misconduct broke, at least two stars have come forward to confirm that where there's smoke there's fire when it comes to allegations of a hostile workplace environment.
First, "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad Garrett Tweeted on July 31st, "Sorry but it comes from the top," in reference to Ellen's video apology, tagging the show's official page. "Know more than one who were treated horribly by her. Common knowledge. OMG!
Later in the week, "Back To The Future" star Lea Thompson confirmed Brad's admission, replying to his Tweet via People, "True story. It is." We are shocked--how did things get so bad??

The BuzzFeed report included claims by employees that executive producers engaged in "rampant sexual misconduct and harassment." Yikes!
Thankfully, the show is now reportedly under internal investigation; Variety and The Hollywood Reporter report that an investigation by WarnerMedia is happening now via third party firm.
New reports indicate that Ellen feels "betrayed," now "wants out" of the show, with rumors of James Corden being eyed to replace her. Actually, that one we're kind of excited for. Stay tuned!
