Zac Efron made quite the impression when spotted out earlier this month.
The High School Musical star has been spending time in Australia while filming his new movie Gold. The 33-year-old was spotted in a tank top that showed off his arms–and it definitely looks like the actor has been spending his fair share of time in the gym this year.

He looks seriously buff in the photos–a testament to his grueling training routine. Compared to a photo of the actor with Jim Carrey last year, it’s clear Efron has been working hard to achieve his new physique.

At the time, Efron reflected that he was "so happy" to be "eating carbs again." However, it looks like Efron is now back to a strict gym and diet routine for his latest role.
In the midst of his new gym routine, Efron has been enjoying his time in Australia with his new girlfriend Vanessa Valladares.
A source told People, "Zac and Vanessa are very happy. They celebrated Zac's birthday with friends before the weekend."
And apparently things are getting serious for the couple.
The source added, "Their relationship is very serious. Vanessa lives with Zac in Byron Bay."
An insider even let slip that Zac has been thinking about making his trip to Australia permanent.
The source explained that the actor is currently "renting a house minutes from the beach," and has been "house-hunting" for a more permanent residence in Byron Bay.
