The holiday season is just around the corner, and that means holiday sales are almost here! We’re already counting down the days to the Zara Black Friday Sale this year, because we know it’s going to be good. Zara doesn’t run major sales very often, usually reserving its discounts for its two Semi Annual sales – one which comes the day after Christmas and the other, the summer sale, which is typically on the third week of June. However, we know we can also count on prices to drop on Black Friday – because they always do – so this year should be no exception!
Zara (a fave of the Princess of Wales, of course) typically keeps its lips sealed about the details of sales before they launch, but we have a few insights and theories we can share. Here are all of your questions, answered.
When Is The Zara 2023 Black Friday Sale?
Black Friday takes place during the last Friday of November (the day after Thanksgiving) which this year is Friday, November 24th. However, Zara's Black Friday sale typically begins online in the late afternoon on Thanksgiving, with one-hour early access to shoppers using the official Zara app. Anyone can download and use the app, so there are no excuses to not download it and get a head start on bargain hunting!
It's a different story for physical stores though, as the sale starts on Black Friday itself when doors open. You can expect most locations to open a little earlier than usual, while also expecting big queues to form before doors officially open! Bringing a to go bag full of Thanksgiving leftovers to provide sustenance before the doors open is encouraged! Zara does not tend to extend its in-store opening hours for Black Friday, so we would advise getting there as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
How Long Is The Zara 2023 Black Friday Sale?
Zara's Black Friday Sale is usually just a 24-hour event, meaning we'll need to get all of our shopping done on the day of Black Friday if the sale is going to end when the clock strikes midnight on November 25th this year.
Special Prices
Physical stores are a little different, but some special discounted items will appear in the Special Prices section on the website, which impatient shoppers (hi!) can look at right this very second. These do tend to disappear before big sales such as the Black Friday sale though, so don't wait if you see something you like! As we always suggest, buy now so you don't regret later! Zara shoppers take no prisoners, and they won't leave a good item there for long before snapping it up!
Does Zara Take Part In Cyber Monday?
We can't say for sure, as Zara keeps Cyber Monday deals even more secretive than its Black Friday ones, but if it does, we can expect to see even more items discounted. Interestingly, the sale did not continue on Cyber Monday last year (so many disappointed bargain hunters!) and everything came to an end on the Sunday evening. Therefore we don't like to take chances when it comes to Zara sales, and would advise getting everything on Black Friday, just to be on the safe side.
What Is On Sale At Zara On Black Friday 2023?
Figuring out exactly what will be on sale at this year's Black Friday event is a bit more of a puzzle. Zara previously offered a 30% off discount site-wide for five years straight, but changed it up in 2019 and marked select sale items down by 50%. Wow! In 2021, however, things were a little different, as it offered up to 40% off on selected lines for Black Friday and Black Friday only. The very least we can expect are 20% discounts across the board, which we certainly wouldn't turn down given the full price of some of our favorite items.
Where Can I Shop The Zara Black Friday Sale This Year?
We're completely confident that Zara's sale will run online as per usual, as well as in stores. We recommend popping into stores and obsessively stalking the website over the next few weeks to familiarize yourselves with what is currently in stock and what price it currently retails at, to make it easier to spot a bargain!
