Time to get excited, as the twice-annual Zara sale is finally here! All shopaholics will know that the semi-annual Zara sale typically happens in the third week of June, and then again in December, traditionally just after Christmas Day.
Everything You Need To Know About The Zara Summer 2024 Sale
There are usually discounts in all categories, including womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and homeware, so there really is something there for everyone! And this year’s sale hasn’t disappointed in terms of what’s been reduced! Discounts vary in terms of what items are reduced and how much they are actually reduced by, but that doesn’t stop shoppers from getting excited about the highly-anticipated sale. How many of us have scored one of our now staple wardrobe items from a Zara sale?! We rest our case!
Can You Return Zara Sale Items?
We actually get this question a lot, and are pleased to reveal that you still have 30 days to return any items either bought online or in store (for online purchases, it’s 30 days from the shipping date of your order) which is great for those of us who like to buy items of clothing without trying them on. The same returns rules still apply, and once the 30-day period ends you won’t be able to return your items; so try them on sooner rather than later!
The returns policy is also great for those of us who miss out on something first time, as there is a small but very real chance that it could be returned and appear on the website again. That refresh button is going to be your best friend over the next month or so, you mark our words!
What Was Zara's 2023 Sale Like?
We always like to reflect on previous sales to get a rough idea on what to expect in future years. The 2023 Zara summer sale, which offered up to 50% off selected items, started on Wednesday, June 21st online and Thursday, June 22nd in stores. The 2022 Zara summer sale, for those who are interested, started on Wednesday, June 22nd online and Thursday, June 23rd in stores.
Timings are very important, as last year, the Zara summer sale began at 9pm on Wednesday, June 21st on the app (we will continue to suggest downloading the app until we can suggest no more!) and 10pm on Wednesday, June 21st on the Zara website, and Thursday, June 22nd in stores. Therefore, it makes total sense to download the app to be one of the first ones to shop the sale and get your hands on those coveted items!
Should I Download The Zara App?
As well as allowing you access to the sale one hour before the website and one whole day before the physical store, the app makes browsing and shopping so much easier; especially if you create an account and save your favorites in your wishlist or even shopping bag ahead of time. This will save you so much time on the day!
Should I Sign Up To The Zara Mailing List?
Be in the know and sign up to the mailing list to stand the best chance of knowing when the sale starts before anyone else. Well, before anyone else who isn't on the mailing list, of course!
What To Buy In The Zara Summer 2024 Sale
During Zara's semi-annual sale, shoppers can expect to see some great spring/summer staples with a slashed price tag. And don't forget to check the 'Special Prices' section of the website, as you might be surprised to find some unexpected steals there. When it comes to sales, be it the Zara sale, post-Christmas sales, or even Black Friday sales, we always suggest only buying something you wanted to buy anyway, to avoid buying unnecessary pieces that you're not going to wear. We want to try and eliminate fast fashion, after all! If you were happy to pay full price for it, then it will be even sweeter if you find it on sale.
Of course, having said that, if you find something you truly love, we don't recommend waiting for it to go on sale, as there is a very real chance that it could sell out before the sale starts and it won't be restocked. We've missed out on many covetable items that way, and have now learned from our mistakes!
Tips For Shopping The Zara Sale
We recommend focusing on general pieces as opposed to something specific, to avoid disappointment. For example, going into the sale with an open mind and thinking, "I want to find a new pair of comfortable jeans to add to my everyday wardrobe" as opposed to, "I need that exact pair of high waist wide-leg jeans" is going to be much better, as it gives you more options. "I would like a new pair of flat sandals," is the way to go, and not, "I want these flat strappy sandals with multicolor beading and no other piece will do." We hope you get where we are coming from! (Although of course, we will secretly be hoping to find the aforementioned items in the sale and in our size; we believe in the power of manifestation!)
