When I first started wearing makeup, I remember being overwhelmed with the number of different products to choose from. But, now in 2023, there are even MORE new and exciting makeup launches to pick from every few weeks. One of the first makeup products I purchased was a pink powder blush that came in a small compact with a little brush and mirror inside. I used this item almost every single day but if younger me knew the amount of different options out there when it came to blush, I think I would have done some exploring.
Liquid blush is taking over the beauty world with its touch of pigment and easy application. Key Feature: Cushion-Tip Applicator
What makes this liquid blush unique is its cushion-tip applicator. This allows for the application of the blush to be extremely precise and lets you add a little bit of product at a time. I also think it’s great because its soft and gentle on your skin which is always an added bonus.

The e.l.f. Halo Glow Beauty Wand, $9 is applied the same as most liquid blushes. Use the soft cushion-tip applicator and gently squeeze a small amount of product onto your cheekbones. Now here comes the part where personal preference comes into play. You can use a beauty blender, a brush or even your hands to blend the blush into your skin, whatever works best for you!
My Honest Review:
Truthfully, I was extremely impressed with how easy the e.l.f. Halo Glow Beauty Wand, $9 blended into my skin. I only applied a small amount at a time because I was worried the color might be too pigmented, but that wasn’t the case at all. The cushion-tip was an added benefit of this product because it allowed for quick application. As I used my fingertips to blend in the blush, it created a glowy and dewy finish which look really great on top of my foundation.
The Bottom Line:
e.l.f. products are known for being on the cheaper side, but that doesn’t mean they don’t offer great quality. The price point alone would be enough for me to purchase the e.l.f.
