e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi-Stick, $5.00
Key Ingredients: Shea Butter & Vitamin E
If a beauty product has shea butter listed as an ingredient, then you know it’s meant to help moisturize your skin. Luckily, one of the main ingredients in the e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi-Stick, $5.00 is shea butter meaning this formula won’t leave your skin feeling dry and flaky but rather hydrated and dewy. I don’t think you can get much better than that! This product also features Vitamin E which also helps to retain moisture in the skin while creating smooth texture. That makes it ideal for applying anywhere on your face, no matter what you intend to use this product for.
Key Features: Versatile & Blendable
The absolute best part about the e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi-Stick, $5.00 is its versatility. It can be used in three different ways depending on your preferences. You can add a hint of monochromatic color to your eyelids, cheekbones or lips in just a few swipes! The formula of this product is meant to be extremely blendable so it can be easily paired with your other makeup favorites. You can also use as much or as little of the formula you want on your skin for a lot or a little bit of color.
How to Use:
Once you’ve applied concealer, foundation or bronzer, then it’s time to pop open the e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi-Stick, $5.00. Apply the makeup stick directly to your skin to create a dewy monochromatic look! You can blend the product into the skin either with your fingertips or with a brush, whatever is easier. With just a few swipes you’ll have a trendy and subtle makeup look!
My Honest Review:
I was honestly very excited to test out the e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi-Stick, $5.00. I’ve never used a multi-purpose product before, so I was interested to see if it actually worked as an eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. After moisturizing my face and applying my concealer and foundation, I swiped the stick across both my cheekbones and blended it in with my fingers. The color is pigmented so there is no need to use a lot of this product which is great because it left my cheeks looking dewy and flushed just like other blushes that I have. I was a little skeptical of using this as an eyeshadow as I usually go for more neutral shades of brown and gold but applied a little on my eyelids and also blended it in with my fingers. It left a colorful pink pigment that was a little too much for me but if you love adding extra color to your eyelids than it is perfect for you! Finally, I swiped some of the product on my top and lower lips and loved how the pink color looked. It wasn’t too matte or too shiny which is exactly how I like my lipsticks!
The Bottom Line:
If you want to create a low maintenance makeup routine and minimize the products that you use, then then the e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi-Stick, $5.00 is exactly what you need! It works extremely well as a lipstick, eyeshadow and blush and isn’t too overwhelming in color or shine. It is great for a lowkey or subtle makeup look and can be used every single day. The price point is unbeatable especially for a three-in-one product! I highly recommend trying out this multi-use stick if you want to switch up your routine but not make it too complicated.
