The calendar might say that summer is almost over, but the heat wave we’ve been experiencing here on the West Coast of Canada certainly makes me feel like the season might hang on for a while longer. Good thing too, because it will give me more time to wear LottyB! This amazing line of chiffon and silk sarongs, kimonos, kaftans and more has absolutely captivated me. Perhaps it’s the influence of Mustique, the 1,400 acre Caribbean island where designer Lotty Bunbury lives, that makes me all daydreamy when I think of her flowy, sexy line.
Maybe it’s the idea that these pieces represent warm weather and remind me of sand and surf. Either way, hers is by far my favorite discovery for summer 2005. Not all good things have to come to an end when autumn approaches … simply by exchanging the bikini underneath for a camisole and jeans, you can wear LottyB well into the fall.
