Every fashion and beauty lover who devours magazines and ads on a regular basis has Gigi Hadid’s face committed to memory. The supermodel’s California glow and natural makeup make her the perfect partner to team up with Maybelline for the duo’s new Gigi Hadid x Maybelline limited edition collection of cosmetics. Each product in the lineup follows a geographic theme — there’s East Coast Glam lipsticks, liners, eye contour palettes, and more; West Coast Glam (think a more metallic, Hollywood-ified version of East Coast); and — for the makeup lover who refuses to choose between coasts — the Jetsetter Palette.
True to its name, the Jetsetter Palette is designed for “looking selfie-ready after a long day of traveling,” as per Maybelline’s press release. Are most of jetting from Tokyo to Brazil every week? Probably not. Does that make us want this palette less? Nope. The palette is a gorgeous mix of concealers, lip balms, eyeshadows, blush, bronzer, highlighter, and even a small tube of mascara. All of the shades are neutral — with a pop of brightness (do Gigi).
If you can’t get your hands on a Jetsetter Palette, these four dupes will do the trick.
1) E.L.F. Perfect Face Palette
A compact palette that can easily be tossed in your purse or carry-on, E.L.F Perfect Face Palette includes three eyeshadows, two lipsticks, one highlighter, and one blush. All of the brown, taupe, and apricot shades can be blended to create unique looks and they work well on a variety of skin types.
2) Revlon Eyes Cheeks And Lips Palette
This all-in-one palette contains six eyeshadows, one blush, two lipsticks, two lip glosses, and mini applicators like a blush brush, lip brush, and dual-ended eyeshadow applicator. Expect a range of universally flattering earth tones with a few peachy-pinks thrown in for good measure.
3) Tarte Happy Girls Shine Brighter Eye & Cheek Palette
This pretty floral compact opens like a book to reveal a mix of six matte and microshimmer eyeshadows in tones like pearly pink, champagne gold, rose gold, matte chocolate brown, pale pink, and matte black, and one super-pretty peach blush with buildable coverage. Each shade is created with Amazonian clay, which is non-chalky, lasts longer, and more resistant to flakes. While it’s true this palette lacks lip makeup options, never underestimate the power of creativity — you can easily mix these shades with a gloss to create a personalized lip gloss.

Believe it or not, the name of NYX’s power palette isn’t even the best thing about it (though it’s a pretty darn good name). This compact gives you an amazing 15 eyeshadow shades — and every last one is a stunning variation of the classic beige/brown/gray/taupe/nude neutral that proves anything but boring. In addition to shadows, you get four matte and pearl blush shades and three pearlescent face illuminating powders. This palette is universally flattering on all skin shades, provides a wealth of options when it comes to creating different looks, and, at $25, is a bit pricier than the others, but makes up for it with options, options, options.
