Going Nautical – New Styles Sail In For Spring

February 20, 2008 by SheFindsJessica

Just because you don't have a yacht, live in the Midwest, and are afraid of the water, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy some nautical styles this Spring. Fresh, preppy, and able to take you from a hipster bar to a country club – the navy and white threads are a boon to any fashionista's closet.

This Tibi Asymmetrical Top ($218) is perfect for happy hour and the office. Belt it with a pencil skirt or pair it with skinny jeans – you'll look graceful and tasteful in any situation.

Ok, so we don't want a white albatross hanging about our neck. (See Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. My literary allusion of the week.) However, this white enamel gull by CC Skye ($71) is a stylish, delicate complement to any sundress or t-shirt.

A pattern scarf, a pair of flip flops… you're ready to go in this wash and wear dress by J. Crew ($58).

This Catherine Holstein dress is a steal, originally priced at $510, it's now $153!!! It's very "it" factory girl meets boating club. In other words, too cute.
