60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

This is the year to spice up your space for the new season! Now that we are spending more time at home than ever before, you might as well make your living space feel cozy and comfortable. And with just a few simple and affordable touches, you can make a big difference.

To show you just how easy it can be, we are sharing how you can spruce up your fall decor for less with tips from Interior Designers and HomeGoods’ Style Experts, Beth Diana Smith & Lilly Bunn. Both ladies were put to the test to refresh their own living rooms for under $500 using a wide variety of unique merchandise (at affordable prices!) from HomeGoods.

Now, they are each sharing their favorite finds from the refresh. Check them out below!

Beth Diana Smith

My favorite finds from the refresh for under:

-Plush blue velvet chair, $199.99

-Blue abstract art piece, $99.99

-Throw Pillows: Two black chevron, one mustard yellow, one velvet green, $73.96 total

-Teal textured lamp, $49.99

-Bright teal floor vase, $49.99

1.Most people don’t think about changing out wall décor periodically. One of my favorite styling tricks is to fill up picture frames with giftwrap, postcards or fabric to create new art. HomeGoods is my go-to for this because there is such a wide selection of eclectic frames and wrapping paper. I found this playful pink gift wrap and a textured metal frame to add to my gallery wall – the best part is, I was able to create a one-of-a-kind piece for less than $10!

2.Don’t be afraid to think outside the box. HomeGoods makes it easy to stretch your imagination and find your inspiration! I was looking to replace my coffee table and unexpectantly found this unique, textured bench with fringe details instead. I styled it with a metallic bowl, navy decorative box and a wood stilted candle – all for about $200.

3.Spice up your bar cart to match the season. Swapping out tumblers for coffee mugs and adding a wicker basket to hold your wine are small changes to help you settle in for pumpkin spice coffee mornings and cozy fall wine nights. Adorn your cart with unique decorative accessories that speak to you – like polka-dot patterned vases or a brightly colored candlestick (just $16.99!).

4.Rather than storing extra throw blankets away, layer them to add texture and color to your space. You can find a range of wow-worthy throws – plush velvet, chunky knits, striped and more – all for under $25 each at HomeGoods. One fun way to style is by layering your throws on a wooden ladder. It will fill out the room and provide ample access for you and guests to get cozy. Plus, you can rotate per season!

My favorite finds from the refresh:

-Rattan console, $129.99

-Bamboo mirror, $99.99

-Throw pillows: Two black chevron & two white chevron, $99.96 total

-Tribal patterned lamps, $59.98

-Rainbow patterned glass orbs, $25.98

1.Refresh with trends for less. For under $130, I found an unexpected, on-trend rattan console while shopping at HomeGoods and decided to transform it into a bar cart. I paired it with a blue ombre ceramic stool, bright blue wicker basket and a show-stopping sculpture framed in plexiglass to create a lively little moment in my living room.

2.Add something for the kids! A floor poof is both stylish and unbreakable – perfect for your children to hang out on, especially if you have little ones (I do!). I found this fringed black and white patterned poof for $69.99 at HomeGoods and put it next to the coffee table for extra seating. My two-year old loves it!

3.If color isn’t your thing, try bolder patterns. Throw pillows and blankets are a great way to easily add pattern to your space. At $24.99 each, I found two sets of black and white chevron pillows to outfit my sofa and paired them with a plush black and white checkered throw blanket. The mix of pattern really makes the space sing.

4.Look for fun accessories to help complete your space. For under $85, I refreshed my fireplace mantle with eclectic items like this blue glass knot, rainbow glass orb, gold frames and stalks of faux wheat all from HomeGoods. Paired with the lamps and bamboo mirror, the smaller accessories topped off the look.
