What’s more annoying than breaking out your winter coat only to have it covered in lint? How about having that same coat littered with fuzzy particles each time you pull it out or wash it. Yes, ’tis the season for static cling! Though, you don’t have to keep worrying about those pesky lint pieces. There are a few household items that you can use to help you keep your winter coats lint-free all season long.
1.Lint roller/brush. If you don’t have one, you need to invest in a handy lint roller or a lint brush. They are serious life-savers, as you can whip them out and just swipe away all of those lint particles without any hassle.
2.Tape. For those that don’t have a roller, tape is your next best option, especially for a coat that only has a small patch of fuzz. Just place the tape over the area and pull away the lint.
2.Dryer sheets. Get rid of the static that attracts lint by rubbing a dryer sheet on your coat. This is a temporary fix. Though if you coat is really covered, put it in the dryer for 10 to 15 minutes with a dryer sheet, and it will knock out the lint.
