I have super fine, curly hair that’s incredibly damage-prone. Wear a ponytail too tight? Breakage. Comb through with any but a super delicate touch? Split ends. As such I’m really particular about what I use on my hair (and who I let touch my hair!). I normally only use products specifically formulated for curly hair, but when I saw this new
Kérastase collection created for slow growing, damaged strands, I took a chance and decided to try it.
I actually have to use a special shampoo for my scalp, so I went straight to the
Kérastase Resistance Length Strengthening Conditioner. First things first, it smells so good. But that’s not the best part. The best part is how incredibly soft and smooth this
conditioner leaves my hair. As I mentioned, my hair is curly which usually means frizzy, but thanks to the combination of ceramides, creatine and maleic acid, this
conditioner keeps my curls defined and protected. It’s really incredible.
I haven’t been using this
conditioner long enough to weigh in on whether or not it’s added inches to my hair, but I can tell you that my hair looks and feels so much healthier. If your hair is easily damaged like mine, you should seriously consider investing (yes, it’s an investment at $40 a bottle!) in this
conditioner. I’ll definitely be keeping it in my hair care rotation for good now.
