Since I’ve been working from home for the last few months, I’ve really mastered the whole “no makeup” makeup thing. I rarely travel anywhere farther than walking distance from my apartment, so my beauty routine is scaled way back. Rather than use tons of products, I’ve been making it work with just a few essentials.
Lip products are definitely must-haves for me. Not only do I hate the feeling of dry, chapped lips, but I just don’t feel like myself with bare lips. I always need a little something and Lano’s Watermelon Lip Water is one of the products I’ve been using a ton these past few weeks. It’s really lightweight and provides a subtle, yet shiny rosy tint that keeps my lips looking supple and juicy for hours.
What I really love, though, is that this lip gloss is made with hyaluronic acid. It keeps my lips super soft and hydrated for hours. There’s also just a hint of watermelon that makes this lip gloss fruity and refreshing.
Most days I just wear this lip gloss on its own, but when I’m going out and want to look extra cute, I layer it either over or under my favorite lipstick to amp up the shine factor. It’s definitely a go-to in my makeup bag these days and one of the lip products I’m recommending most enthusiastically to friends these days. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think!
