Looks like that
Loehmann’s online store
we found out about last month is finally here. The brand is trying to make a comeback despite physical store closures and bankruptcy issues, and this is their first step.
The same types of products and discounted designer brands that you would’ve found at a Loehmann’s stores are still available online, but the company did add some more “millennial” friendly pieces to keep up with the times, like items from Steve Madden, Rachel Zoe, and Jeffrey Campbell. The site has women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel, handbags, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and bed and bath decor–just like the stores we knew and loved.
But in order to compete with other designer retail sites like
Nordstrom Rack, Loehmann’s knew they had to have something unique, so they decided to offer monthly payment plans on items with higher price points, like Michael Kors bags and Versace dresses, which definitely fits in with their focus on younger generations. I know I would be soooo much more likely to buy an MK bag if I knew I didn’t have to pay for the whole thing up front.
Either there are a ton of former Loehmann’s shoppers who were super eager for the site launch or the youngins have already discovered the site, because a ton of products are already sold out. So you better start shopping quickly. You won’t want to miss out on a good deal!
