We are so excited to announce that Nordstrom Rack launched an HauteLook are one in the same now, shoppers will also be able to add items to their virtual shopping carts from both sites. Smart move, Nordstrom.
But just like other discounted merchandise stores, every Nordstrom Rack has something different. So for now, you may see something online that you won’t be able to find in your local store or vice versa, but Nordstrom has found a way to regulate that. Soon, the site will also have a feature that will tell shoppers if their find is available in a store near them. The site will also make shopping easy by offering free shipping over $100 and returns to a physical store or the site within 90 days.
Since online shopping has become so popular, it only makes sense that Nordstrom Rack would want to get in on the action. But it isn’t competition from other similar sites that President Jamie Nordstrom is concerned about. Instead in an interview with
Geekwire, he said, “I think the competition is the Internet. You can buy merchandise that we sell in lots of places. We are focused on creating valuable experiences for customers.”
As customers, we are really excited to take advantage of these “valuable experiences,” since we know quite a bit about online shopping and Nordstrom is one of our faves. We can’t wait to watch Nordstromrack.com grow in upcoming years and contribute to the growth by shopping the site.
