Most people know that unprotected exposure to the sun can increase the risk of cancer and wrinkles. But they may not realize that sunscreens sold in the US can only block UVB rays effectively, not UVAs, which can also cause wrinkles and may be linked to cancer, too. The solution is a drug called Mexoryl, contained in Ombrelle and Anthelios lotions, both L’Oreal products. The only trouble is that the drug is illegal in the US.
