Say Goodbye To Dark Circles, Puffiness, And Fine Lines With This Refreshing Under-Eye Brightener!

If your TikTok FYP looks like the inside of a dermatologist’s office, then you’re probably familiar with the term “glass skin.” If not, let me enlighten you! “Glass skin” is a Korean beauty trend referring to skin that’s so perfectly plump and pore-less, it looks like glass. Think Hailey Bieber’s signature glow-y look—that’s what we’re going for here.

As a skincare-obsessed person, I’ve tried what’s felt like every combination of products to get “glass skin.”After much trial and error, I’m relieved/thrilled to share with you the specific products in my routine. There are six steps in total, and the full set of products will set you back around $250. Sure, it’s an investment, but worth it IMO if it gives you gorgeous, glassy skin that’s worthy of an A-lister.

Ready to get started?

1. COSMEDIX Cleansing Oil for Face ($39): Cleanse

Before you do anything else, you’ll need to cleanse your face. This ensures you remove all dirt and pollutants, giving you a clean canvas with which to work your magic.

I’m a fan of COSMEDIX’s cleansing oil because it removes makeup efficiently and nourishes with radiance-boosting oils. The oil isn’t too thick, doesn’t irritate, and makes my skin feel super clean.

2. Brooklyn Botany Microdermabrasion Facial Scrub ($14.95): Exfoliate

Exfoliating is a key step in any “glass skin” routine because you need to scrape off all the dead skin cells to achieve maximum glow. That said, you should not exfoliate every day (I learned this the hard way). Twice a week is sufficient for me personally.

When I do exfoliate, I like this microdermabrasion scrub from Brooklyn Botany. It buffs away the top layer of skin, promoting the regeneration of new cells, and boosting collagen in the process. For just $15, it basically pays for itself.

3. Solawave Refreshing Jelly Mist Toner ($28.80): Toner

Using toner after exfoliating gets rid of any lingering impurities so that your skin can shine (literally).

This jelly mist toner is a super-fine spritzer. I love that it hydrates without making your face feel gunky, especially because you’re going to be layering more products on your face after this.

4. KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Blemish Ampoule ($35.99): Serum

Packed with ingredients like Niacinamide, Vitamin B complex, Idebenone, low molecular Salmon Collagen, and 9 different Hyaluronic Acids, the KAHI Blemish Ampoule gives you the gorgeous dewiness that “glass skin” is known for. It might be my favorite part of the whole routine!

If you don’t want to shell out $40 here, another affordable serum choice is The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. For $6, its high-strength vitamin and mineral blemish formula work well to even out skin texture and cut down on oily shine.

5. COSMEDIX Humidify Face Moisturizer ($100): Moisturizer

Moisturizers are all about protecting and hydrating, which is the essence of “glass skin.” So, don’t skip this step!

COSMEDIX’s Humidify Face Moisturizer is pricey, but well worth it. Formulated with Shea Butter and Colloidal Oatmeal, it deeply hydrates and locks in moisture, turning you into a glow-y goddess.

6. KAHI Fine Line Bounce Collagen Serum Facial Mist ($34.19): Mist

Last but not least, the Kahi Collagen Serum mist gives you an extra boost of moisture and hydration for a full 24 hours.

I like this mist so much that I also use on its own to hydrate my skin. That bottle is so pretty, the product itself smells amazing, and I notice an immediate difference in the evenness of my skin after using it.

To each their own; for me, “glass skin” isn’t an attainable everyday beauty look. If you’re always looking for glow, I recommend highlighters and sheer skin tints. While your skin might not look like glass, they’ll immediately lift your cheekbones and add shine.
