Remember in high school when Dr Scholl’s wooden sandals were cool? I do. I have a turquoise pair that I wore with a frayed white jean skirt and a matching turquoise polo from Lacoste (was I a high schooler or a suburban mom at the country club? The jury is still out.) Well, that wooden-heeled “exercise sandal” has just been re-imagined by none other than Steven Alan. The Steven Alan x Dr Scholl‘s collaboration just hit online (thanks, Racked, for the tip!) and it’s pretty appropriate given spring’s red hot slide sandal trend. (Also, as Racked pointed out, they are sort of normcore, aren’t they?)
