My day-to-day makeup routine is pretty simple. I usually only use three products: eyebrow gel, mascara and lipstick. But I recently starting experimenting with tarte’s chrome paint shadow pot and every time I wear it, people always ask about it.
When you see the colors and how this eyeshadow glides onto your lids, you’ll understand why it garners so much attention. I’ve been using Frose, which is a metallic rose gold that’s just shimmery enough to wear everyday. The color itself is really stunning, but I also love how it makes my eyes look wider and brighter. When paired with a simple black mascara, the effect is really stunning.
In addition to the amazingly pigmented colors, tarte’s chrome paint shadow pots are so good because a little goes a long way and they have staying power. Just one small dab is enough to cover each lid (you can use more if you want a more dramatic look) and then it stays put all day long, no primer necessary.
It’s worth adding here that you absolutely do not have to be a makeup pro to pull off this eyeshadow. Truth be told, I apply it with my pointer finger and it looks good every single time. Pretty and fool-proof? Yes, please!
