Thanks to a tip from DealSpin, I just got 50% off my order at Banana Republic by stacking 2 coupon codes, which I had previously thought was not possible with the Gap brands. Not sure if this is a glitch or what, but it definitely works (I have the receipt to prove it!) so I would suggest you get over to the Gap sites today to cash in.
How it works: today Banana Republic is running a sitewide 30% off sale with the coupon BRPRIME. If you’re a first time subscriber to their mailing list (just use another email address if you’ve already signed up–duh) then you get a personalized coupon code sent to your inbox worth 25% off your next order (sign up here). I signed up for the newsletter, got my email sign up coupon code right away, and then was able to apply it to the same order I used the sitewide code on, for a total discount of ~50% off.
While signing up for the BR list, I also signed up for Piperlime’s and received a discount code in my inbox for 30% off there as well (I will save that one for the next time they have a sitewide sale). Gap is running a 30% off sitewide sale today (code DEAL2), so I would suggest that you sign up for their newsletter (to receive a 25%-off coupon code) before placing an order with DEAL2 today.
Okay, that was a lot of math; the bottom line is that Gap’s sitewide sale codes are stackable with their email sign-up codes.
