60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

The half bun is a hairstyle we’ve seen all over our favorite street style bloggers and celebrities. It’s great because it works on any hair texture and length. Also, it’s not only cute, but it’s practical too! It keeps your hair out of your face while adding an element of edge, which is always a win-win. We already taught you how to do the half bun, but now we’re teaching you how to keep the half bun from falling flat an hour after you style it.

Step 1: Before you put your hair up, tie it into a half ponytail. Make sure it’s tied up high and secured tightly, think Ariana Grande!

Step 2: Then, take the base of the ponytail and tease it with a fine-tooth comb.

Step 3: Use hairspray to spray the base of your ponytail after you tease your hair so you can maintain volume.

Step 4: Afterwards, all you need to do is use bobby pins to pin your ponytail into a bun.

Step 5: Make sure to place a few bobby pins at the bottom of your bun and place the bobby pins upwards, so it positions your half bun upright. This will also help keep the half bun secure.

Then wah-lah, you’re done. Go on with your cute self and your perfectly-kept half bun!
