Ivanka Trump already sells apparel, fragrance, shoes, and accessories, but she’s not stopping there. The business woman turned fashion designer is launching leather handbags and giving Bloomingdales a monthlong exclusive of the collection. This comes just after news of Ivanka’s plans to launch home products and sunglasses next year. Looks like someone has her dad’s business savvy.
According to an article released today by WWD, the collection is called Ivanka and it’s an extension of her existing handbag line. The new leather bags will have a slightly higher price point than her original collection, $225-$395. The line is inspired by hexagon elements and features exotic stingray, snake and alligator prints, as well as metallics and jewel tones. Bloomingdale’s will launch the collection on August 12th, one month before it hits other stores.
Ivanka also let us in on another plan she has in the works for her fashion empire: e-commerce. She hopes to roll out an innovative retail site within the next six months. Is there anything this woman can’t do?
